Rules

  1. Have fun! That's why we do this.

  2. Explore your characters: This is a character-driven game, lightly plotted. Tell your tales and interact. Get to know the other characters. There's a lot of details for you to have fun with. Emote!

  3. All combat is GM-moderated: If you're going to fight with another character or three, call for a GM. The GMs will resolve the fight based on their whims. You have been warned.

  4. If a GM says STOP, then please stop: There will be a couple of moments where we're going to have to describe some big events. Please stop and pay attention, because it will be important. We'll try not to interrupt too much.

  5. Play nice! We're all friends here. If you don't know someone, assume they're a friend. If there's another player you don't particularly like in the game, assume they're a friend for the duration and play accordingly.

  6. Know thyself: There's a lot of detail in the character sheets. The game is best if you know what's in there and react accordingly. It's OK to check a fact in the character sheet if you have to. It's OK to make up appropriate details if they aren't in your sheet.

  7. Please stay in character: We'll SMOG after the game.

  8. Be kind to the GMs/authors: They've gone long hours without sleep to bring you this game. They are also clearly insane, based on the materials! Forgive their flaws for now, and help them fix the problems later. Don't forget to tell them about the good things.

  9. It's only a game.
