having a force vision or a force memory

There are moments when the Force reaches into a mind, providing a Vision of something that may happen. These prescient moments involve the person completely, moments where reality fades into a new existence, with all of the senses and experiences entirely real. Someone can die in one of these potential futures, which may be a premonition of what's to come. In those cases, the Force user who has the Vision will normally return to the present and their location, without actual harm, as they were when the Vision started.

These Force Visions rarely explain the ramifications and fallout from the actions taken in the Vision. It is up to the person having the Vision to consider all of the potential possibilities of their choice. It is quite possible to have Visions of several subtly different possibilities, as choices made before the time of the Vision may alter or narrow the options when that time actually arrives.

There are also moments when the Force reaches into a mind, to remind someone of something they've done and may have forgotten. These Force Memories also involve the person completely, where they are submerged back in time, with all of the senses and experiences entirely as they were. Since they are still living, they will not die, but that doesn't mean that the Memory can't be about someone else dying. Once the Memory is relived, the Force user who has the Memory will normally return to the present and their location, as they were when the Memory started.

There have been recorded instances of several Force users simultaneously involved in the same Vision or Memory.
