users of the force

This is what is generally known today (41 ABY[1]) about beings capable of using the Force, a form of energy that connects all things in the galaxy.

the jedi

The Jedi, manipulators of the Light Side of the Force, were exterminated by Emperor Palpatine at the end of the Clone Wars. Palpatine invoked the clone Stormtroopers' Order 66, which led them to betray, hunt down, and slaughter every Jedi in existence. (19 BBY[2])

It is possible that some of them escaped. If they did, they are isolated and separated, their active Temples and schools destroyed during the prosecution of Order 66. Jedi generally work in Master — Padawan pairs. Abandoned and lost Jedi Temples and artifacts are uncovered from time to time, but should be avoided.

the sith

The Sith, manipulators of the Dark Side of the Force, were destroyed by the death of the resurrected Darth Sidious/Emperor Palpatine at the Battle of Exegol. (35 ABY) A motley crew of Resistance members and people from across the Galaxy destroyed Palpatine, the Final Order’s Fleet, the Sith Temple, and the Sith.

It is possible that some of them escaped. Sith generally work in Master — Apprentice pairs, preferring isolation and independence. Sith Apprentices become Masters by betraying and killing their Master. Abandoned and lost Sith Temples and artifacts are uncovered from time to time, but should be avoided.

others

There are occasional rumors about lone Force wielders who use a balance of the Light and Dark Side as they wander from system to system, but these are nothing but stories told over too many drinks. There are myths and legends about other kinds of Force wielders and Force beings, but nothing organized, notable, or known to be active.

the mortis gods

There are tales and myths of three "gods" of the Force, but these are considered apocryphal. In the stories, the Daughter was an avatar of the Light Side, and the Son an avatar of the Dark Side. The Father represented balance between the two, reining in the excesses of his children. Decades ago, a story went around that these Mortis Gods had actually been killed.
